Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator – closing date 31 October 2023

Growing Solidarity is Hempen’s community outreach project. We work with people from vulnerable backgrounds such as migrants, and together, we exchange skills, share knowledge, combat social isolation, and build resilience, with nature providing the foundations, tools and backdrop. Hempen also hosts short and medium term volunteer placements that provide the opportunity for people to be a part of our community and wider mission. As Volunteer and Outreach Co-ordinator, you will coordinate and deliver our outreach programme and through collaboration with other co-op members, support volunteers to participate in our cooperative’s wider work.

Duration
This contract is fixed for one year, with a view to extending it, subject to obtaining further grant funding.

Hours
This role will be 10 hours a week, based on our farm near Pangbourne, RG8 7RE. Days of work are flexible according to the largely self-directed work needs.
