We are seeking a proactive and experienced Trusts and Grants Fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, applying for, and securing funding from trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies, and reporting back to the funder. This role is crucial in ensuring the sustainability and growth of our services into the future.

Hours: 7-10 hrs per week (or 14-20 per fortnight) TBA

Person Specification:
Essential:

• Proven experience in fundraising, particularly in securing funds from trusts and grants
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to write clear, compelling, and persuasive funding applications which reflect our ethos
• Ability to accurately cost projects
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience working in a healthcare or charity setting
• Knowledge of the cancer care sector and/or complementary therapies
• Experience working in a grant-making organisation or community foundation
• Familiarity with CRM systems and/or fundraising databases
• Relevant fundraising qualifications or certifications

You must be legally eligible to work in the UK and pass our screening process, including the NHS’s DBS and occupational health checks.
