SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime is an Oxford based charity working across the Thames Valley. We are looking for experienced practitioners to provide support on a freelance basis to young people and parents across both our Young Victims and Building Respectful Families Services. Sessional practitioners are contracted on a freelance basis to provide one-to-one support to young people who have had an experience of victimisation, or where they are affected by Child to Parent Violence (CPV). There are also opportunities to co-facilitate group work for both services.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have extensive experience of working with young people in a supportive role. An enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills, you will have experience of multi-agency working and a commitment to high standards of professionalism. Sessional practitioners are responsible for providing appropriate support to children, young people and parents, designing individual intervention plans based on the young person’s needs and providing support to parents/carers. Sessions may be delivered remotely (using video conference) or face to face, dependent upon the needs of clients.
