Our aim is to support our members to live enriched independent lives in the community and this is your chance to make a real difference. Berkshire Vision provides information and support to children and adults who are blind or visually impaired. We achieve this by offering a wide range of services to our members and their families, as well as working with health and social care professionals, local employers and community groups to improve their understanding of visual impairment and the needs of those affected by all forms of sight loss.

The Projects Co-Ordinator – Volunteering role has been developed to provide support and management to the charity’s volunteers, with our Head of Volunteering. The role holder will focus on the safe recruitment, management, development, training and recognition of our volunteers. The charity has in excess of 180 volunteers, who volunteer across Berkshire. Experience of supporting volunteers and/or teams is essential.

The successful candidate will be able to inspire, manage, train and develop volunteers. You will have outstanding communication skills, be able to develop strong and positive relationships, work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and represent Berkshire Vision at events.
