Centre Manager (Women Only)
21 hours/week over 3–4 days | £35,000–£38,000 pro rata
1-year fixed term (potential to extend) | Based in Reading

Reading Community Learning Centre (RCLC) is a charity supporting migrant, refugee, and ethnic minority women. We provide a safe, welcoming space for learning, advocacy, and community building.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Centre Manager to oversee daily operations, support programme delivery, and lead staff and volunteers. This post is open to women only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing day-to-day Centre activities and facilities
  • Supporting strategic planning and compliance (safeguarding, H&S, data protection)
  • Coordinating educational programmes, outreach, and community events
  • Admin and financial oversight
  • Building partnerships and leading volunteers
We’re looking for someone with:
  • Proven experience in centre, office, or charity administration
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of equality, safeguarding, and Prevent duties
  • A passion for empowering women and marginalised communities
