An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with experience in adult education to join our team as a Training Officer and continue to build on our successful training programme supporting the local and voluntary sector.
Who are we?
Earley Crescent Resource Centre is a community building, designed and built with flexibility to meet the needs of all voluntary and community organisations and serving the residents of Earley, which aims to promote a self-confident and independent existence for residents of all ages and abilities.
What does the role Include?
- Manage our established and well-regarded training programme across the area.
- Coordinate and provide targeted, relevant, accessible training focused on engaging with residents and the wider community.
- Support learners with opportunities to help them seek employment. Enable those who are socially isolated or disadvantaged to develop progressive pathways into work, volunteering, further education and community involvement.
- Building on our existing established community learning projects, the Officer will work together with our Training Support Officer to plan, promote and implement short community-based courses.
- Promote and sustain partnerships and engage with all members of the community.
24 hours a week, Wednesday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm
