We are looking for a customer-focused individual with energy, experience and a strong sense of purpose to join us as a Money and Benefits Advisor.
As a money and benefits advisor within our Catalyst Communities department, you will be based at our Reading office and often work in a community setting. You will provide excellent customer services, helping Catalyst residents to overcome barriers to financial capability and increase the take-up of the correct welfare benefits. You will engage with customers in a variety of ways to ensure the maximum take-up of services; deliver information, advice and guidance to customers; and signpost customers to local service providers. As part of our Catalyst Communities team, you will be working with customers to improve outcomes and life chances.
You will have proven experience within a similar role and will have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written with people at all levels. You will need to advise and influence others and be able to negotiate and influence customers, colleagues (peers and management) and external bodies.
The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
