Home Start Reading is a local family support charity. Our volunteers help families with young children deal with the challenges they face such as postnatal depression, isolation, physical and mental health problems and bereavement. We support parents as they learn to cope, improve their confidence and build better lives for their children.

A great opportunity has arisen to be appointed Scheme Manager, based at our office in Southcote. You will be responsible for ensuring that our services are delivered to high standards, providing leadership and management to a team of staff and volunteers and for the day to day management of the scheme.

• A good standard of education to a minimum of A level is essential.
• This role is a permanent role, it will be for 26 hours a week (occasional out of office hours).
• Own transport is essential.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
