Launchpad 135 Centre offers Home Skills sessions to our members. We’re looking for a 135 Home Skills tutor to help support this service.

Activity Description
To lead on the planning and delivery of one-to-one or group cookery/home skills sessions.

Tasks

• Manage stock levels
• Maintain kitchen hygiene
• Generate cookery activity lesson plans
• Support members to make recipe choices
• Support members in cooking their chosen recipes
• Support the centre in creating a cookery club

Skills Required for the Role:

• Cookery experience
• Good organisational skills
• Good team worker
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work professionally

You will need to have your own insurance and DBS

Skills Preferred for the Role:

• School or college food tech or hospitality experience
• Experience of working with vulnerable people

Time Commitment:

2 days a week, for a few hours at a time; or for a whole day (depending on availability)
This would be a long-term placement

Additional Information:

This is a non-driving role.
Support with achieving a Food Safety and Hygiene Level 1&2 certificate
