This is a new role for our national charity – our finance management is currently being done by a contractor we’ve worked with for many years. The person that takes on this role will have overall management for all finance and service aspects of the charity, providing guidance and support.
Ensuring delivery, strategic development and appropriate planning and analysis of financial and operational services and systems (CRM & accountancy software).
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and its support services (Helpline, Befriending, Live Chat, Facebook support group and literature requests). You will have direct line management of the Support & Volunteers coordinator and Support & Finance coordinator. This is a full-time permanent position.
Accounting technician ability required:
- Reconcile all bank accounts and other control accounts.
- Managing & coordinating daily / monthly reporting (P&L),
- Budgeting, forecasting and reforecast processes.
- Provide reports to all budget holders and assist them in
managing their budgets.
Computer literate – Microsoft 365 – Excel, Word,PowerPoint.
Systems: managed CRM & accountancy software (we use Zero and Salesforce).
