PACT’s Community services include Alana House and Bounce Back 4 Kids. Alana House is an innovative women’s community solution in Reading and provides outreach support Berkshire-wide. The Alana House team use a holistic approach to support women by empowering them to take control of their lives, make informed decisions and improve their life chances. Bounce Back 4 Kids is a support programme for families affected by domestic abuse. The team provide group and individual support.
We are looking for a strong team player to help with providing valuable administrative support to the team. This is a varied role with responsibility for creating a welcoming environment for service-users, visitors and partnership workers, inputting accurate and timely data to the database, planning and running the service delivery diary, ordering resources and stock, answering the phone and door buzzer, arranging meetings and minute taking.
You should have some previous administrative experience, ideally gained in a social care setting, have good IT skills (particularly databases and Excel) and be calm and approachable.
