Challenge Events and Partnerships Manager – closing date 12 July 2019

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising manager to work as Challenge Events and Partnerships Manager to continue developing and growing a portfolio of events, including existing ones such as Virgin Money London Marathon and London Landmarks Half Marathon. You’ll work with the Challenge Events Fundraiser and a team of dedicated volunteers.

As well as delivering the current portfolio, you will also lead on identifying new opportunities and partnerships in line with sector trends to drive continued growth which will deliver income of more than £1million each year.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have proven experience of securing and managing charity of the year relationships, developing and delivering marketing strategies alongside other teams as well as strong knowledge of sector trends. You’ll also demonstrate ability to supervise and motivate people.

Responsibilities include:
  • managing budgets
  • managing all aspects of challenge events and partnerships
  • building new and maintaining current relationships within challenge events and partnerships
  • supervising the Challenge Events Fundraiser to ensure the team’s responsibilities are achieved
  • working closely with the marketing team to develop and deliver a marketing strategy to drive growth of the challenge events portfolio.
