A Branch Manager is required to oversee the work of the advice centre, which is the local branch of Frontline Debt Advice (UK). It is busy providing debt and benefit advice to the local community with 12 experienced volunteer advisers.
The Branch manager will be required to:
- Ensure the office is appropriately staffed
- recruit, train and develop volunteer advisers
- represent Frontline in the local community
- provide information as required to the Trustees and CEO.
- implement any requests the Trustees and CEO may make, and generally, ensure the policies and procedures of the charity are adhered to.
There will be a handover available from the current Branch Manager who will be available to support over at least the first 6 months.
Experience in managing a small office, working in the local community, and liaising with a head office would be an advantage.
The role is wide-ranging but the time commitment each week can be as little as a few hours. Space is available to work in our office but many of the tasks can also be completed from home.
Phone 07717 193088 if you would like an informal discussion.
