Based in London with hybrid working. Service delivery with regular travel in the London Boroughs.
Our adoption teams focus on recruiting adoptive parents who can consider fostering to adopt and/or adopting a wide range of children including those over four years, sibling groups, diverse ethnicities and who may have disabilities. With access to our specialist therapeutic services, we’re proud to provide excellent lifetime support for our families’ adoption journeys.
Working with the Team Manager, you’ll provide support and supervision to a team of dedicated and experienced social workers. Including assisting with managing workloads, coaching and supervising to ensure that the highest standards of quality and professional practice are achieved and maintained, and they reach their full potential. You’ll carry your own small caseload and deputise as needed.
You should be a qualified registered social worker, with at least 3 years child social care experience including adoption. Skilled at undertaking more complex assessments, your own standards of practice will be consistently high, and you will work with the child at the centre of all that you do. With excellent communication skills, you’ll be a confident networker, able to build successful working relationships.
