This is a new role in our adoption support team. You will be responsible for managing an individual caseload, working directly with families. Supporting the Team Manager, you will deliver the team’s key targets and objectives through effective and efficient operational management.
You will support the development and delivery of the service and provide operational management to adoption support activities across our Adopter Champion, Family and Child Therapy Services (FACTS) and Strengthening Families teams. You will directly line manage the Adopter Champion Lead and will deputise for the Adoption Support Team Manager.
You should be a qualified registered social worker, with a minimum of three years post qualification experience in adoption work and previous placement support experience in adoption.
You will have effective interpersonal skills, able to develop productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, service users and colleagues with a collaborative working approach. You will also have good problem-solving skills, able to identify solutions and apply these creatively, within the confines of the regulatory constraints of the work.
