Adopter Champion – closing date 24 November 2023

At PACT we are genuinely passionate about what we do. We share a purpose of empowering service users and strengthening families through the quality services we provide.

We have been at the forefront of adoption services for over 60 years, working with local authorities across the country. With our outstanding Ofsted rating, we work with a high degree of flexibility and innovation and adopters from all backgrounds.

Our adopter champions provide valuable support to our adopters by giving advice, encouragement and signposting. Could you become a vital part of our team by supporting parents of adopted children with a variety of issues and working with professionals, predominantly during primary and secondary school age through to early adulthood?

We are looking for an adopter with experience of adopting a child/children for a period of 6 years or more and with experience of overcoming challenges within your own adoption journey.

It is important to understand the issues an adopter may be faced with including emotional and behavioural issues, therapeutic parenting techniques, Attachment Disorder, and the importance of self-care. You will also have good interpersonal skills, communicating/listening effectively.
