Trust House will be holding a training event on Thursday 23rd May, the topic of which will be ‘understanding and working therapeutically with survivors of sexualised trauma + with interpersonal psychological trauma’.
Led by the esteemed sexualised trauma specialist with over 25 years of experience, Zoe Lodrick, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about sexualised trauma, interpersonal psychological trauma and working therapeutically with survivors.
Some of the crucial elements that will be covered during this whole day of training and development are:
- Dismantling shame: Learn the neurobiology of trauma, why victims often don’t react “logically,” and how to combat the self-blame they carry.
- Breaking the cycle: Discover how past trauma creates vulnerability to future abuse. Equip yourself to identify the signs and empower survivors to protect themselves.
- Protecting yourself and others: Secondary trauma is real. Learn how to take care of yourself and colleagues while navigating the emotional weight of these experiences.
Join the ranks of those making a tangible difference such as the NHS, midwives, and the police who found immense value in this training.
