RBC’s Directorate of Communities and Adult Social Care are holding a joint event with Brighter Futures for Children on World Social Work Day – 18 March 2025. This is a day that Social Workers around the world we celebrate the amazing work that we do. We would be honoured if you could join us in our celebrations.

Social Workers, students, people who have drawn upon services, and allied services, will have stands in the council chamber for visitors to learn more about what Social Workers do and how the support people to live the lives that matter to them. We will have a central café environment for people to have conversations and to learn more about social work and the role they play. There will be information and some enjoyable activities.

The stands will be available from 10:00 to 12:00

From 12:00 until 12:45 we will have a bring and share lunch.
