We warmly invite you to our online Read Easy Reading Information event.
Read Easy works by matching trained volunteer reading coaches 1:1 with non or beginner readers and has established a successful track record because of its flexible, fun and free approach!
We are intending to start a new Read Easy group in Reading and Wokingham and are in the process of getting together a volunteer Management Team to run the Read Easy Reading group, with the intention to start activity in Spring 2024.
We warmly invite all professionals who work within Community Services, Education, Adult Education, Library Services, Voluntary Services, the Councils and, especially to any passionate individuals who have the time and/or drive to support this exciting community venture to help improve people’s quality of life to:
- Seek more information about what Read Easy does.
- Find out where and who we intend to support.
- Find out whether Read Easy might be able to complement the work you are already doing.
- Find out whether you or your organisation can support, refer, or work with Read Easy.
- Meet some of the fantastic Team who are volunteering their time to run and coordinate the group activity.
- Consider whether you would like to volunteer as a Management Team member or Coach for Read Easy.
- Find out if your venue could offer free space for Coach/Reader pairs to learn to read, or for group meeting space.
- Consider if you know local funders that can support the coaching of adults learning to read.
