De-escalation Training – in a trauma informed context

RVA will be hosting free de-escalation training for those working for or volunteering in charities or community groups in Reading.

Provisional date: 17 November, 10am – 1pm, at RISC

The aim: to help you adequately respond to situations that may arise in your charity when delivering your services, whether one-to-one or group services, in a way that will de-escalate the situation but to also bear in mind that we work with vulnerable individuals and to therefore learn some skills to take a trauma informed approach to handling those difficult situations.

The session will delivered by an expert in this area.

We are just awaiting funding to deliver this to you for free.

  • your name and role in the charity
  • charity or community group name
