At the University of Reading, we’re looking for volunteers to take part in a study exploring the effect of prebiotic supplementation on sleep, mood, cognition and the gut microbiome.

This study builds on previous research, which showed that prebiotics can improve sleep and reduce inflammation. We are interested to see the effect of prebiotic supplementation on sleep and the kinds of bacteria living in your gut and the effect on inflammation in the body along with effects on stress, mood and cognition.
