The7stars foundation, established by the7stars, supports the most challenged young people in the United Kingdom. Assisting forgotten young people aged 16 years and under, lacking opportunity, to achieve their potential.

The funding looks to support those challenged by abuse; addiction; those who are young carers; and those without a safe place to call home.

What are the funder’s priorities?

The grant funding prioritises the areas:

  • Abuse,
  • Addiction,
  • Child Carers,
  • Homelessness, 
  • As part of our focus on Abuse, the7stars foundation is committed to accepting applications for young people aged 16 and under who are facing racial discrimination and/or abuse.
Who is eligible to apply?
  • Please note they offer funding to registered charities only,
  • Organisations must have a turnover of under £1.5 million and be supporting young people aged 16 years and under.
Grant funding streams:
  1. Project grants to charities aligned to our funding priorities and age range.
  2. Shine Bright funding enables charities across the UK to provide items and resources which will protect and support the children they serve through the cost of living crisis. Charities are asked to provide details of how our funding can assist, and which items would be purchased through an award. Grants are available up to £1,500 per successful application.
  3. Direct grants funding to individuals affected by the themes they priorities, supported by outreach/social/care workers or legal professionals.
How much can you apply for?
  • Project grants of up to £2,500 are available.
  • Shine Bright funds are available up to £1,500 per successful application.
How to apply?
  • The7stars foundation offers grant funding across the three streams.
  • Applications must be submitted by the supporting professional.

Is there a deadline?

This fund is now open, and it continuous rolling programme. The funding rounds for 2023 are:

  • 1 March – 30 April 2023 for June funding review
  • 1 July – 31 August for 2023 October funding review

Please note that they will notify you mid-month of any funding decisions applicable to you.
