Following the enormous success of its £100K Community Cashback Scheme last year, SPAR is repeating the programme this year, giving grants to local organisations and charities.

 

Leading convenience symbol group SPAR is launching a new £100,000 Community Cashback scheme, which will give grants to local voluntary or community organisations and charities who need it most.

Who is eligible to apply?

The shoppers from all over the UK can apply for a grant for an organisation or charity they feel deserves funding.

Grants are open to UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland mainland only) aged 16 or over excluding employees, and their immediate families, of SPAR UK (the “Grant Provider”) or any SPAR UK holding companies or subsidiary.

Applications are not eligible from:

  • Individuals
  • Community Interest Companies with shares (CIC’s)
  • Community Interest Companies with guarantee that are less than two years old
  • Profit-making organisations
How much can you apply for?

 There are grants available, covering all geographical regions across the UK, and amounts up to £10,000 are available, with a total pool of grants valued at £100,000.

How to apply?
  • To apply go to: SPAR UK website via the form at www.spar.co.uk/community-cashback-apply or if in SPAR NI www.spar-ni.co.uk/community-cashback.
  • If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain written parental or guardian consent to apply. The Grant Provider may ask the successful applicants to provide proof of age.
  • Each applicant may only apply for one organisation during the entirety of the application live period.
  • All applicants need to do is share the exceptional contribution a local organisation has made to their community and what the grant would be put towards.

Is there a deadline?
  • The scheme has opened for applicants from 00:01 on 1 Feb 2023 until 23:59 on 15 March 2023, and successful candidates will be contacted on 2 May 2023.
  • All applications received after 23:59 on 15 March 2023 will not be counted.
