We are delighted to announce that RVA’s Social Prescribing service has achieved the Reading Advice Network (RAN) Quality Standard. This was awarded for signposting, providing assisted information, giving advice, and doing casework.
The RAN Quality Standard is designed to enable member organisations, their funders, and their service users or clients to be confident that the organisation is providing a high-quality service to the people who come to them for help.
Reading Advice Network has three aims:
- To improve the quality of information, advice and non-statutory advocacy that is available to people in Reading.
- To make it easier for people in Reading to access the information, advice and non-statutory advocacy they need.
- To become a focal point for information, advice and non-statutory advocacy services in Reading.
If your organisation is interested in becoming a member of RAN and achieving the Quality Standard, please email chair@readingadvicenetwork.org.uk.
