Trusteeship and the challenges around recruiting and retaining trustees is often a subject that comes up within our RVA Advice Service. With this in mind and in order to get a fuller picture of the state of the local Reading voluntary sector in relation to trusteeship, we invite you to complete our Trustee Survey 2025.
This is a follow on from our Reading Voluntary and Community Sector – State of the Sector- Survey 2024. The report will be published and shared in 2025.
- Ideally your Chair or CEO/Manager should complete this survey.
- There are 11 questions covering the following areas: recruitment, retention, governance and management support,
- We estimate it will take 10 minutes to complete.
- This survey is open until 12 March 2025.

Why complete the survey?
- This information will help build a picture of trusteeship in Reading and feed into the wider State of the Sector report for Reading.
- It will help in identifying the challenges groups face and the support they need and will impact out strategy and the offer to local groups going forward, particularly in relation to trusteeship.
- The report produced will be a starting point in creating an accessible pool of information on Reading’s Voluntary Sector, helping to identify patterns and trends over time.
