Localgiving is the UK’s leading independent non-profit online fundraising platform for charities and community groups. They are incredibly excited to announce that Magic Little Grants 2023 is going to be even bigger and better than ever before.

This fund gives local charities and community groups the chance to apply for grants to deliver projects across Great Britain that encourage people to be physically active.

What are the funder’s priorities?

This year’s funding aims to support projects that address the following themes:

  • Providing support to improve mental health.
  • Enabling participation in physical activity.
  • Enabling participation in the arts.
  • Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty.
  • Supporting marginalised groups and tackling inequality.
  • Improving biodiversity and responding to the climate emergency.
  • Improving green spaces and increasing access to the outdoors.
Who is eligible to apply?
  • Small local charities and community groups.
  • Organisations must either be in their first year of operation or have an annual income under £250,000.
  •  Schools are eligible to apply if they are registered charities.
  • Funding can be used to launch new projects, support existing ones, or cover core costs associated with ongoing work.
  • Groups in Northern Ireland are not eligible to apply for this funding.
How much can you apply for?

Localgiving will distribute £500 grants to charities and community groups, and an outcome within six weeks

The deadline for applications is midnight on 31 October 2023.
