Introduction – overview of the programme

LandAid is a grant-making Trust assisting outstanding charities and non-profit organisations to achieve their goals in supporting some of society’s most vulnerable people.

For over 30 years LandAid has been bringing together remarkable businesses and individuals from across the property industry and wider built environment to support projects that provide life-changing accommodation for young people facing homelessness.

Their vision is to see an end to youth homelessness in the UK, and aim to create 1000 bedspaces for young people who are homeless, or who have experienced homelessness, by April 2024

What pro bono support can charities apply for?

Apart from providing capital grants to youth homelessness projects, LandAid also helps a wide range of charities and non-profit organisations to find free, high quality professional skills, services, and advice generously provided by their Corporate pro bono partners. They intend to increase the value of their Pro Bono Programme to over £1m/pa by April 2024

Their large network of committed corporate partners are well placed to provide a broad range of both property-related and non-property support. Examples of the kinds of assistance that has been successfully brokered include:

Property-related support

  • Architectural / engineering advice
  • Development management
  • Property investment / financial advice
  • Property search and agency
  • Surveying services

Non-property support

  • Management consultancy
  • Communications and marketing
  • Legal advice
  • HR support
  • IT/tech support
