Are you looking for resources to help you establish good financial leadership and governance for your charity?

The Association of Chairs have produced the following free guide, which helps you to assess your own financial governance, asking key questions such as:

  • How can I support the trustees with their financial duties?
  • What board arrangements will support our financial governance?
  • Do we have a clear financial plan?
  • Do we have the financial information that we need?
  • Are key finance relationships working well?

This is a very practical guide, which includes a number of resources that may help you with the above questions, as well as a matrix at the end to establish how well you are doing and how you might develop further.
