After successfully carrying out hundreds of health checks at Reading Central Library, the Community Wellness Outreach project is moving to a new central location in Broad Street Mall.

From 6 January 2026, health checks will be available on the first floor of Broad Street Mall on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30am to 5pm. Bookings are now open via our website.

How to find us

• Located in Broad Street Mall, Broad Street, RG1 7QE
• Take the escalator, lift or stairs to the first floor, next to the Post Office.
• Buses stop outside Broad Street Mall, on St Mary’s Butts and Cheapside – see Reading Buses map of town centre stops here.
• There is a large multi-storey car park with direct access to the first floor of the centre.
