We are looking for three new Trustees to join our Board
What does RVA do?
Reading Voluntary Action (RVA) supports and helps voluntary and community groups to start up and thrive, matches volunteers to great opportunities and works together with organisations across Reading to improve the lives of local people. RVA is aiming to better reflect the community it supports by making its Trustee board more representative in terms of a wider range of age, ethnicity, social background, disability, etc.

Are you interested in supporting the local voluntary and community sector to thrive and would you like to share your skills, knowledge and experiences on our Trustee Board?
We’re looking for people who:
- Are committed to RVA’s aims and objectives and developing the future of RVA.
- Speak openly, encourage different perspectives and can think creatively
- Have some relevant skills/experience, including links to communities/service users in the Reading area.
- Can work effectively as part of the team of Trustees.
- Have the time, energy and enthusiasm to be a Trustee.
In return, you will:
- Develop skills through Trustee experience and training.
- Have the opportunity to give back.
- Get to know Reading and its wider community better.
