We have a 3 year partnership with Starlight (Legends) concerts to raise awareness and fundraise at each of their tribute concerts across the UK. This is the first year of the partnership and I am looking for volunteers who can help on either day in return for free tickets to the event.
We are looking for help over both days broken down into 2 shifts
1st shift: 11.30am – 4.30pm
2nd shift: 4pm – 9pm

As a volunteer (Charitable Marshall) you will wear a Marie Curie t-shirt and Legends tabard and be on hand to give directions if asked, chat and be friendly and to answer any questions about Marie Curie if you get asked. You will work in pairs and be stationed around the site. You will carry a collection bucket and / or contactless machine to take donations throughout the day.

We will have a marquee area as our ‘hub’ where you can meet, go for breaks, take back any money, eat food, leave jackets etc and each day there will be a Community Fundraiser or Registered volunteer managing the volunteers and taking responsibility for the money collected.
In return for volunteering, you will get free entry to the event and up to free 2 tickets for friends or family who can arrive anytime during the day. There are on site bars and food stations, but you can bring a picnic if preferred (but no alcohol) and you own chairs.
