Bubble Rush is a series of family fun running events which are taking part across the UK. People pay a registration fee to enter and run a 5km course through ‘bubble stations’ so they covered in coloured foam and collect a medal at the end. They have chosen Marie Curie as one of the beneficiaries of some of their events for 2021 and Marie Curie will receive 30% of registration fee and participants are encouraged to get sponsorship for taking part too.

The Reading event is on Sunday 20th June and we are looking for volunteers who can help between 9.30am –approx. 1.30pm. Volunteers will be on hand to help with meet and greet, manning the bubble stations across the course, help with queuing (social distancing) for medal collection and generally be on hand to assist where needed. The event is run by Bubble Rush and there will be a Marie Curie Community Fundraiser leading on the volunteer support and will be there on the day itself.

There are free places to take part for anyone who helps with volunteering and may have family who wish to join in the fun!
