Animal care volunteers needed for Private: The Light of the World Trust

We urgently need volunteers in Wokingham to exercise dogs belonging to the elderly and disabled who can no longer take their pets out.

It is well documented that owning a dog provides great benefit in the following areas:

  • loneliness
  • isolation
  • depression
  • lowering blood pressure
  • reducing stress
  • companionship
  • increases security
  • a sense of personal safety.

As a volunteer dog walker you will be making a huge difference to the lives and wellbeing of the owners as well as to the health of their beloved dogs!
