Lend your financial experience to this thriving hub in Reading’s cultural and social life
Trustee / Committee volunteer needed for Reading International Solidarity Centre (RISC)
Reading International Solidarity Centre is a thriving hub in Reading’s cultural and social life. It is one of the best known development education centres in the UK but is much more besides including a world shop, a roof garden, a cafe, a renowned education team and rooms for hire to local groups.
As a trustee you would be expected to advise the trustees on financial aspects of the organisation liaising with the accounts coordinator at RISC and interpreting budget projections and month to month accounts of the organisation at trustee meetings which the accounts coordinator attends.
We expect the person to have worked in finance at some stage in their career and have experience of accounting systems feeling confident to be able to advise the trustees at our meetings.
Experience in fundraising would be a bonus!
