Trustee / Committee volunteers needed for League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital in RG1
The League of Friends of Reading Hospitals a charity within the Royal Berkshire Hospital celebrated its 60 years anniversary last year and has raised thousands it has the pleasant task each year of distributing funds to improve the welfare of staff and patients.
The League is run by a committee of trustees who meet every 2 months to discuss the general running of the League and to make decisions on Hospital Giving Projects. The role is fully participative and contributing to the Leagues events and retail outlets.
If you have experience management, fund raising and an interest in health and helping patients at the Royal Berkshire Hospital we would love to hear from you. Training for a trustee role will be provided. The League also has a coffee shop, retail shop and runs the hospital trollies, each year fundraising events are organised.
We wish to recruit new Trustees to join the committee. We would like any applicant to play an active role in the running of the Charity.
