Stewarding / Event Support volunteers needed for Reading Pride Ltd in RG1
Reading Pride is run by unpaid volunteers and we need your help to make Pride happen! Volunteering at Pride can be a rewarding, exciting and important way to support the community.
It’s been a tough year and we are looking forward to making up for the time we lost. You can help us bring Reading Pride 2021 back to an in-person event for the community and get those warm fuzzy feeling knowing you made it happen.
We’ve worked really hard to keep our Pride a free event for everyone to attend (not just those who can afford it). This means we rely on people to donate and we need more people collecting those donations for us as well as other tasks like building staging, stewarding the parade or cleaning up the site so that we leave it as we found it!
Roles available:
- Site building/preparation (Thurs/Fri)
- Site close down (Sun)
- Parade Steward (Saturday Morning)
- Pride Assistant (Saturday)
- Donations Collector (Saturday Only)
