We are seeking volunteers to help the older people who use our day service feel comfortable in their new surroundings as we move from our current base at Amethyst Lane to our new home in Rivermead leisure complex.
The role will be key in helping to ease the transition to the new site and duties will include;
- welcoming those attending the day service and helping them find their way around the new site
- helping with the setting-up the space
- helping with the various activities that are on offer
- serving tea and lunch
- packing away at the end of the day
We are ideally looking for volunteers who can help out now at the Amethyst Lane centre ahead of our move, however, we are happy to hear from anyone who can help out.
