Work under supervision and within boundaries set out by the SHaRON (Support Hope and Recovery Online Network) Service to provide moderation on the SHaRON online platform to include:

• Logging onto SHaRON when volunteering.
• Reading and responding appropriately to posts from service users.
• Sending virtual presents to service users appropriately.
• Attending regular supervision sessions (online)
• Following escalation policy if posts cause concern to volunteer

Personal qualities:

• Interest in supporting service users with mental health issues and their families and carers
• Friendly, empathetic personality and excellent online compassionate communication skills
• A desire to help people regain control over their mental health
• Interest and experience of social media platforms e.g. Facebook.
• Able to work as part of a team
• Clear understanding of confidentiality
• Have responsibility for health, welfare & safety of self and others – compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
