Part-Time Garden Maintenance Volunteer
Required for small charity in Whitley, Reading that provides horticulture therapy support for people with mental health challenges.
We seek the help of a person who has good practical skills, is reliable and enjoys working outdoors. We need support with the general upkeep of the site; buildings, walkways, painting, irrigation and lots more.
Whilst the role will not involve working with our clients, you would need to have an understanding of the work of the charity and be approachable and patient. You would also need to be empathetic to the mental health challenges our clients face.
This is a part-time, unpaid position, for a few hours mornings and/ or afternoons on a Tuesday or Thursday each week.
