Alana House is a women’s community project. It supports women in the community with a range of support needs, and the volunteers enhance the service provision and experience for these women.
This role is suitable for a woman with experience of leading mindfulness sessions to diverse groups. The ideal person will be comfortable with planning and preparing groups and leading the groups and encouraging participation as well as feedback for development.
The purpose of this role is to lead mindfulness group sessions to:
- enable the service users to have a successful experience of activities
- to gain confidence
- to gain skills
- to build on the Alana House community.
Having regard to the nature and context of the work, there is a genuine occupational requirement permitted under the Equality Act 2010 that this post is only available to women.
