Befriending / Visiting volunteer needed for ENRYCH Berkshire
Our volunteers support and enable people with a physical disability to take up, or return to, a hobby, interest, sporting activity or learning opportunity which they cannot do without some help or support. This support is mainly about giving confidence, understanding and emotional support to bring colour to our members’ lives.
Do you love horses?
We have a partially sighted lady who would welcome some help with looking after her lovely horse.
She would like someone to drive her to the stables and then help out with grooming and looking after her horse, once or twice a week for a couple of hours each time. Previous experience is not necessary as she is very willing to teach stable management to any willing volunteer.
If time allows perhaps you could visit a garden centre and have a cup of tea together?
