Could you spare a few hours each month helping a local charity put together a weekly audio news service for the blind and visually-impaired community?
Reading’s Talking News needs Editors to work as part of a small team to select and read out local news items for recording in its weekly edition.
You need to be able to research the local and national press and pull together items of interest for our listeners.
You would join a team of Editor/Readers and your commitment would be a few hours research in the week before you are editing for a recording session of approximately 2 hours.
We record on Monday evenings.
We would anticipate you would be Editor about once per month on a rota basis.
Please do get in touch if you can help.
