DIY / Maintenance volunteers needed for Launchpad Reading in RG1
Launchpad house and support vulnerable people in Reading who would otherwise be homeless, and we have over 100 bedrooms in our properties around Reading.
We’re looking for fit and friendly DIY volunteers to help our Maintenance Team keep things in good order.
The role will involve attending our properties alongside our Maintenance Team to assist them in general maintenance and DIY. This includes assisting with repairs, decorating, moving furniture, and clearing rubbish.
We’re looking for Volunteers who can give us 1 day per week (Monday to Friday), and who are friendly, good team workers,with good listening and observation skills. Previous experience in DIY or trades is ideal, but not essential.
As the role is 95% manual labour focused, volunteers should be physically fit.
