IT / Programming volunteer needed for Alliance for Cohesion and Racial Equality (ACRE) in RG1
Acre is an infrastructure support organisation that is tasked with promoting ‘equality and community cohesion’. We are currently working on a range of projects including Alafia – support for ethnic minority families caring for a child with disability or additional needs; Rose Centre – STOP Female genital Mutilation Project; and awareness and prevention of Hate Crime.
Acre (sometimes working with partners) regularly host meetings and events, and we also receive information that we have to disseminate to our partners and stakeholders.
We are looking for a volunteer who can help us produce concise articles and reports of events and meetings, and disseminate either via our website, Mailchimp, Facebook, or Twitter as appropriate. Having knowledge of WordPress will be useful.
We aim to make the relationship as flexible as is convenient for the volunteer, but we would require the volunteer to honour their commitment.
