Advocacy / Campaigning volunteers needed for EWB Reading Regional Network
If you are motivated and feel you could make a difference in our community and the world, then join our Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Reading Regional Network Committee!
This position is open to everybody, not only engineers.
We call ourselves ‘changineers’, since we believe everybody can engineer change and improve the world.
As a Committee member, you will inspire others to make a difference in the world. Our meetings are held every couple of months somewhere in Reading town centre where we come together to discuss specific ideas and actions for the future, but most of the time we will be discussing ideas on our Whatsapp group, so that you can engage with the Committee from anywhere.
At the moment the Committee is formed of 7 people and the main responsibility is to organise events in Reading to raise awareness about any topic related to extreme poverty and climate change in the world.
It will be up to you how much time you want to put in.
