Berkshire Vision is a local charity with over 100 years of expertise and experience in the provision of services, advice and support to people across Berkshire who are blind or partially sighted. We aim to provide visually impaired people with the information and support they need to live independently and safely.

We have recently launched a new Fundraising Appeal aiming to raise £61,000 to buy a custom-built minibus to help transport our young blind and partially sighted Members to workshops and events that will support their development, empower them to transform their lives, and give them the opportunity to increase their independence and confidence.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and creativity who will drive the campaign forward with their fresh ideas, however, it is likely that the role will involve:

• Planning and executing a social media campaign to support the fundraising
• Planning and supporting involvement in events to help promote the campaign
• Giving talks in schools and other institutions to encourage participation in fundraising challenges in aid of Berkshire Vision.
• Building relationships with businesses to engage staff in fundraising activities/ generate corporate donations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key part of a fundraising appeal, the success of which will make a significant positive contribution to the lives of a partially sighted young person.
