Cianna’s Smile supports families affected by Sickle Cell across the UK by reducing isolation, providing education, and raising awareness, including promoting blood donation.

We are seeking an Administrative Officer to help ensure the charity runs efficiently, remains compliant with legislation, and effectively manages reporting and funding requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the team and CEO, managing emails, responding to enquiries, and maintaining databases, mailing lists, and filing systems. Supporting the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.

Assisting with the coordination of events, workshops, and youth activities, including bookings, attendee management, materials preparation, and post-event follow-up.

Supporting communications and marketing by liaising with suppliers for print and promotional needs.

Helping with financial administration, including basic bookkeeping and maintaining accurate donation and Gift Aid records.

Supporting volunteers and stakeholders by coordinating communications, meetings, and correspondence with families, partners, and funders.

Overseeing office organisation, supplies, and deliveries, and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Assisting with safeguarding procedures, handling confidential information, and supporting ad hoc projects as required, including opening and closing the office.
