Contact Advice and Assessment Service (CAAS) Domestic Abuse Practitioner (West Berkshire) – closing date open

As a CAAS Domestic Abuse Practitioner, your role will be to support West Berkshire Children’s Social Care in their work with children and families experiencing domestic abuse. This will involve providing high quality consultation and advice to the team, as well as working directly with survivors experiencing domestic abuse.

The CAAS Practitioner will provide support, risk assessment, information, signposting and advocacy to clients who have or are currently experiencing domestic abuse.

For the above vacancy, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a confidential & safeguarding environment, and have an understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on families. A full driving license and access to transport is desirable.
