An RVA Community Wellbeing Training session, designed for frontline staff and volunteers, active in local VCOs, looking to develop & enrich their awareness of the menopause.
This interactive session will include:
- introduction to and overview of menopause
- myth-busting
- case studies
- attitudes, beliefs and approaches across different communities
- ‘hidden menopause’ symptoms
- toolkits and resources
and plenty of time for questions.
Refreshments will be provided.
Trainer biography
Dr Shilpa McQuillan is the founder and clinical lead of Berkshire Menopause Clinic, a dedicated specialist menopause and women’s health clinic based in Henley. She is a British Menopause Society accredited menopause specialist, NHS community gynaecologist and women’s health GP.
