We are running a 3 year project funded by Reading Borough Council to provide debt advice to the local community. This role will be working with paid and volunteer debt advisers and caseworkers and reporting to the debt team leader.

The Debt Caseworker will work with vulnerable clients or those seeking help with more complex cases, to give full debt advice, including acting on the client’s behalf where appropriate. The Debt Caseworker will work with the Debt Adviser(s) and Debt Team Leader to determine next steps for all new debt clients, including deciding which cases will progress towards casework, whilst managing a caseload.
